Provider Profile - Yavapai Care Services, LLC, dba Helping Hands In Home Care

Mission Statement
The mission of Yavapai Care Services, LLC, dba Helping Hands In-Home Care and Prescott Helping Hands, is to achieve and maintain a standard of excellence in the provision of non-medical assistive care services to elderly, developmentally disabled, and other impaired individuals who are in need of such services.

There are three essential and integral parts in and to the fulfillment of this mission:

  1. The acquisition and retention of the best staff of administrators, supervisors and, most importantly, of hand-on, direct care providers of services as is possible in the existing and potentially available workforce.  This emphasis on quality of direct care staff comes from the recognition that they and the work that they do constitute the foundation of the rationale for the very existence of the business, or its primary reason for being.
  2. The implementation of a first priority in agency decision-making of always placing the best interests of the clients we serve before all others.  While it is recognized that the business must always remain financially viable, and the acquisition  and retention of excellent staff depends in great part upon adequate financial compensation for their work, yet this does not mean that consideration of business income should or needs at any time to exceed or surpass consideration of clients’ best interests.
  3. The adoption of a rule that the agency will not attempt to try to do everything, or try to provide needed services to all potential clients, but will limit the provision of its’ services to those cases where there is a high degree of confidence that such provided services will be of exceptional quality and value to the clients.
