(STARS) is a private, 501(c) 3 non-profit corporation founded in 1973 to provide
sheltered employment for people with developmental or physical
disabilities. From our humble beginnings in a trailer made available by
the local Jaycees, we've diligently evolved our organization into a
cutting edge rehabilitation agency, offering a multitude of integrated
services out of three facilities and operating within a $1.8 million
annual operating budget dedicated to providing people with special
challenges the opportunity and resources to realize their individual
potentials.
Whom We Serve
Each day, we serve
more than 130 adults with learning disabilities, traumatic brain
injuries, mental retardation, autism, cerebral palsy, seizure disorders,
and other mental, physical, or sensory challenges. Our clients include

Hills, the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community, and the White
Mountain Apache Indian Reservation.
