Mission Statement
The Helping Hands Agency is helping to build a stronger tomorrow by
strengthening and connecting people, ideas and resources to build a
stronger community.
Values
The Helping Hands
Agency is a non-profit organization, funded primarily through the
Division of Developmental Disabilities. We also have contracts through
the Navajo nation, Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Arizona
Department of Transportation and other state and federally funded
programs.
We have been serving the community of Page as well as the surrounding
communities since 1995. We provide services to people from Tuba City to
Kayenta and everywhere in between!
Some of our services include a day program for adults with disabilities,
an after-school and summer program for school-aged students with
disabilities, habilitation, in home and community supports, assisted
living for adults, vocational rehabilitation, and transportation for
individuals with disabilities as well as for the general population.
The Helping Hands Agency is recognized for its excellent reputation for
providing quality services and is committed to providing the highest
possible level of support to the individuals we serve and by meeting our
mission we are helping to build a stronger tomorrow.
Services
We offer day, after-school and residential programs, specializing in
life skills training and recreational opportunities, including Special
Olympics. Our vocational center provides employment development,
placement, and support, as well as a Culinary Training program and
catering employment opportunities. We also provide home and
community-based services for families as well as helping them access
services and plan development programs for their children.
