Statement
Rusty’s Morningstar Ranch exists to
provide quality support to individuals with in autism in a
residential ranch setting.
Values
- We provide
programs with integrity and respect encouraging
supportive relationships and community involvement.
- We provide a
growing and learning environment for staff, families,
and Ranchers.
- We provide a
daily life that is consistent and structured for the
benefit of the Ranchers.
Services
Rusty’s Morningstar Ranch provides a rural residential and training
program for autistic and autistic like adults. The services center
on teaching the Ranchers and providing for their individual needs.
Services include,
but are not limited to, the following:
- Teaching self-maintenance
skills
- Teaching constructive use
of leisure time
- Teaching improved use of
language skills
- Teaching social interaction
skills
- Participation in the
development of Individual Support plans, to assist Ranchers in
meeting their goals
- Promoting self reliance
skills
- Transportation and
monitoring of Ranchers to medical appointments, recreation events,
etc.
- Coordinating necessary
medical, psychological, speech therapy, and dental services
- Providing a home
environment that includes family style living and nutritious foods
